New Management Structure

January 25, 2012
David Baumstark has taken over the role as President of Archway Sales. Over the past several years, David held the leading management role within Archway's marketing and strategy committees while directing all of our sales efforts. In Davids new role, he will also oversee our Principal Management efforts. Additionally, as part of this role adjustment, Jack Baumstark Jr. has been appointed Vice President of Archway Sales. He will continue to oversee all marketing efforts as well as responsibility for identifying acquisition targets. Jack Baumstark Sr. will begin serving as Chairman of Archway Sales, overseeing Archway's long term corporate strategic planning. This will include acquisition negotiations, financing, and distribution agreements. Jack Baumstark Sr continues to be very proud of what Archway has accomplished and wants to ensure that we have the structure in place to be successful in the decades to come. Functionally, this transition has been occurring for several years and our goal of this release is to clarify these new roles for internal employees and our valued Principals. Our long term succession is something Archway has always taken very seriously and we are confident these changes will allow us to operate efficiently while meeting our goal of quickly responding to an ever changing marketplace.


Archway Sales, Inc. welcomes Aaron Rath

We are very pleased to announce Aaron Rath joined Archway Sales, Inc. as a Principal Manager. Aaron comes to Archway Sales with a strong background in industrial chemistry and sales management. With two degrees in chemistry he entered the chemical business in 2000. Aaron has hands-on experience in urethane and coatings technology that has yielded papers and a patent for his first employer, BASF Corp. He managed technical service for CASE Urethanes at BASF during an exciting time of growth. Aaron earned an MBA at the University of Michigan and shortly thereafter became Product Manager for BASF's polyether resin business. Over the last four years as a Sales Manager for Tri-iso, Inc., he has delivered value to customers in coatings, thermoset resins, and lubricants. It is natural for Aaron to bridge the space between suppliers and their distribution sales partners in the field.


Archway Sales Names Regional Distributor of Clariant Corporation's Pigment Business Unit

Effective January 1, 2012 Archway Sales Inc. has been named a regional distributor for the Clariant Corporations Pigments Business Unit in North America. Under the agreement, Archway will distribute Clariants full line of organic pigments, pigment dispersions and dyes to the coatings, printing, and plastics markets, for the states of, Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut, New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware, Maryland, West Virginia, Ohio, Kentucky, Michigan, Indiana, Illinois, Missouri, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Iowa, Nebraska, North Dakota and South Dakota. Additionally, Archway will handle the plastics market for all states previously listed and the additional states of, Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Florida, Alabama, Mississippi, Tennessee, Louisiana, Arkansas, Texas, Oklahoma and Kansas.
